
The Alabama State Council on the Arts would like to invite you, or a representative of your choice, to attend a ceremony to receive the School System Award 2016, for our Visual Arts Achievement Program, to be held at the State Capitol auditorium on Friday, April 29th at 2:00 pm. This award goes to Jefferson County Schools due to the high quality and amount of student works placed in our Statewide exhibit. We applaud you, your schools, your teachers and your students for the hard work, dedication and commitment to creativity that it takes to reach this level of excellence.
This year a total of ten state awards were earned by students from your school system. There are six Blue Ribbon Finalists, two Best of District awards, and Two Best of Category awards.
